Manuscript Content Checklist

We expect the following in a Quality Paper to have high chance of acceptance for publication in the journal.

Peer Review Criteria

Kindly visit the journal home page to have a good look at what reviewers have in mind when conducting double blind review.

Allowed Paper Length

Number of pages is never a criteria to judge a paper but the content and its effective presentation matters. Following is just a guide for presentation of enough technical content.

Minimum Length

Minimum length to present sufficient technical content is 08 pages or more in journal format. Under 08 pages in journal format will not qualify for an external review and shall be rejected in initial editorial screening

Maximum Length

Maximum allowed length is 45 pages in journal format to ensure authors are not cramped for space when presenting their findings and provide detailed and rich technical content.

Manuscript Formatting Guidelines

All manuscripts must contain the following: author information, abstract, keywords, introduction, materials & methods, results, figures and tables with captions, discussion, conclusion, funding information, author contributions, conflicts of interest and further ethics statements (if applicable).

  1. Text and Type Area (Margins)

    • Type area: Letter (8.5'' x 11'') with margins - Top: 1.3", Bottom: 0.6", Left: 1.25", Right: 1.25".
    • Text should be fully justified.
    • Manuscript (following the abstract and keywords) should be prepared in two-column format with column width 2.8" and space between columns 0.2".
  2. Titles Format

    • Paper Title: CAPITAL LETTERS, 16-point (Times Roman).
    • Author(s): CAPITAL LETTERS, 10-point (Times Roman).
    • Affiliation(s): Capitalize Each Word case, 10-point (Times Roman).
    • Head: BOLD CAPITAL LETTERS, 10-point (Times Roman).
    • Sub Head: Capitalize Each Word case, 10-point (Times Roman).
    • Leave 2-line spaces between title and author names/affiliation, and between author/affiliation and abstract.
  3. Text

    • Text type should be 10-point Times Roman, single-spaced.
    • First line of all paragraphs should be indented with one line gap between consecutive paragraphs.
  4. Heads / Sub Heads

    • Levels of subheads should be easily distinguishable with numbers and one-line spacing before each subhead.
  5. Figures and Tables

    • Figures and tables should be black and white or grayscale.
    • Place figures soon after citation in the text or at the end if too large.
    • Figure Captions: 9-point Times Roman italic (e.g., Figure 1. Caption) beneath the figure.
    • Table Captions: 9-point Times Roman italic (e.g., Table 1. Caption) on top of the table.
    • Number captions consecutively in order of their first citation (e.g., Table 1, Table 2, etc.).
  6. Equations

    • Use Microsoft Equation Editor; equations should be editable and not appear as images.
  7. Acronyms / Abbreviations / Initialisms

    • Define them the first time they appear in the Abstract, main text, and first figure or table.
  8. Sections

    • Author Information: Full names of authors (including optional middle name initials) and their affiliations must be included. At least one author should be identified as the corresponding author with contact details such as email, phone, and ORCID ID.
    • Abstract: A single paragraph (max 200 words) and the content should follow the style of a structured article but without headings:
      1. Background: The purpose and broader context of the study.
      2. Methods: A brief overview of the methodologies or treatments used.
      3. Results: The main findings or discoveries of the study.
      4. Conclusion: Key interpretations or conclusions without exaggeration.
    • Keywords: You must include three to ten keywords relevant to the article, and they should be placed after the Abstract.
    • Featured Application (optional): Encouraged to highlight a specific or potential application of the study.
    • Introduction: Provide context, significance, and purpose of the research with key references.
    • Materials and Methods: Detail methodologies for replication, including software versions and available computer code.
    • Results: Summarize study findings clearly with supporting data.
    • Discussion: Relate results to previous studies, highlight limitations, and suggest future research.
    • Conclusion: Summarize key findings if the discussion is lengthy.
    • Funding: List all funding sources, grants, and article processing charges (APC) if applicable.
    • Conflicts of Interest: Declare any relevant circumstances or interests. State "None" if there are no conflicts.
  9. Other Details

    • Acknowledgments: Mention support not covered in Funding or Author Contributions.
    • Institutional Review Board Statement: Required for studies involving human or animal subjects.
    • Informed Consent Statement: Required for research involving humans.

The submitting author, who is generally the corresponding author, is responsible for the manuscript during the submission and peer review process. The submitting author must ensure that all eligible co-authors have been included in the author list and that they have all read and approved the submitted version of the manuscript.
